Looking Back...

Interested in what fuels an author to decide it's time to publish? Time for a clothing change

In some ways, book covers are like clothing for the story. They wrap the words in a way that, hopefully, gives the reader a glimpse of what they will find inside. After a recent model scandal, I chose to rework the covers for two of my novels: Dance with the Enemy, and Beyond the Shadows. Both from my Land of Riandus series.  I was truly saddened to have to change the covers. I felt the originals were perfect, reflecting my characters. Thanks to Period Images, I was able to find replacement images that, to my surprise, I believe I love even more. Now I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks!

It's been way too long!

When we get busy, it's easy for slippage to occur. This blog was one of those things that I let fall to the sideline. However, I have recently started writing once a month for Originality by Design and realized I should be sharing links to the blog here. It's a great blog with some truly inspiring members. It offers a world of creativity in one place for everyone to explore. You'll get a little bit on a lot of things.
